The Gather circle is named for the Women of ELCA Magazine which has a monthly study. All women are welcome in a monthly Prayer-Share and Bible study, where we are pleased to offer friendship in Christ. A yearly subscription to Gather Magazine is important to the study. Please contact Ruth or Carolyn for your subscription.
We are fortunate to meet at the home of Dick and Donna Meddish and we follow a monthly Bible study that has been a practice of Women of the ELCA in our Lutheran Congregation for 30+ years. The Bible Study is usually written by women; many are professors in colleges and seminaries. The format requires some reading in the magazine, and the discussion questions often include our own experiences and ideas. Our first half hour includes shared prayer concerns. Our discussions and sharing are always held in confidence by members attending that month.
We receive offerings for Family Kitchen, or other mission as advised by our member(s) on church council.
